The Department of Orthodontics, Institute of Dental Sciences, organized a meaningful awareness and patient-appreciation program on 15 May 2026 to mark World Orthodontic Health Day. The event focused on motivating patients and recognizing their cooperation, commitment, and treatment journey.

During the program, patients were encouraged and appreciated with awards such as "Best Smile Transformation" and "Most Punctual Patient". These recognitions highlighted not only successful treatment outcomes but also the value of patient discipline, regular attendance, and active participation in orthodontic care.

On this day free dental health checkup camp was organized and free sample distribution was done.

The gifts and awards were distributed by the Head of the Department, Dr. Preeti Bhattacharya, in the presence of other staff members and postgraduate students of the department. Their participation added warmth and dignity to the occasion, and reflected the department’s collective commitment to patient motivation and community engagement.
