OVERVIEW
The Department of Public Health Dentistry at Institute of Dental Sciences, Bareilly International University, Bareilly was established to cater to the oral health needs of the rural and the peri-urban population surrounding Bareilly city. This department is committed to train and calibrate the undergraduate and post-graduate students to provide quality dental education, screening and treatment camps, and competency in clinical work and orientation in bio-medical research.
We have two satellite centers namely, PHC, Rithora and PHC, RMCH situated in Bareilly. We specifically generate our own OPD which is independent of OPD of the college by conducting regular screening and treatment camps in and around Bareilly. Our average OPD is 40 per day and we comprehensively treat all the patients in our department and in specific cases, referral is been done.
