Dental Football League

The Dental Football League was successfully organized at the Institute of Dental Sciences, Bareilly, with enthusiastic participation from undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and inter-batch interaction.

The tournament featured four teams—FC Phantom (Captain: Dr. Samvit), Black Thunders (Captain: Dr. Ritwik), Barbad 11 (Captain: Deepesh Singh), and Royal Bolts (Captain: Lucky Joshi). Each team had 10 players, with matches played in an 8-a-side format, ensuring fast-paced and engaging gameplay.

The league matches were held from 5th to 11th February 2026, followed by the final on 17th February 2026. Throughout the tournament, teams displayed excellent coordination, strategy, and competitive spirit. Royal Bolts emerged as the winners, defeating FC Phantom in the final.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Shivlingesh K.K., Dr. Alok Kumar, Dr. D.R. Das, and Dr. Ankit Singh Rathore. The finals concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.

Individual awards included: Player of the Tournament – Lucky Joshi; Golden Boot – Aman Iqbal Siddiqui; Golden Gloves – Amandeep; and Rising Player – Shadaan.

The league successfully fostered unity, enthusiasm, and a vibrant sporting culture on campus.
